Life can be stressful. It can be even more stressful when you’re young and you don’t know what to do with your life while everyone around you tells you everything you may not want to hear. That’s why an Ann Arbor, Michigan cat cafe is doing its part to help relieve teen anxiety.

Tiny Lions Lounge and Cafe is opening their doors to local teens to help them hang around with cats and lower their stress level. “Cats are therapeutic,” said Karen Patterson, HSHV vice president of Humane Education and Volunteering, in a release. “Studies show that cats’ purring helps lower our stress and blood pressure, and literally help us heal.”
