We already know that politicians will lie to deceive and lie to convince others that they didn’t lie in the first place. Since humans so readily lie, it’s no wonder that people often feel that cats can lie and gaslight their owners as well.
One way cats can gaslight you is by suddenly deciding they don’t want to eat their food that they’ve been eating for the past few weeks, months, or years. Another way cats can gaslight you is by getting you to play with them, and then just walking away.
When politicians gaslight people, it’s despicable, but when cats gaslight people, its adorable because everything cats do is adorable, especially when they torment their human owners.
