Many people love cats, but many people are also allergic to cats. That means a single cat can boss around an allergic person simply by threatening to get near the person until that person bows to the demands of their feline master.
Along with finding a cure for cancer, scientists are trying to develop a hypo-allergic cat. This type of cat would let people allergic to cats actually be able to own and care for a cat. Since 15% of the population is allergic to cats, this could open up more homes for cats so they can control the minds and lives of more people.
