Cats like to sleep most of the day and then wake up long enough to eat, cause chaos, and then go back to sleep again. However, make sure that your cat doesn’t get obese because obesity, just like in humans, can cause lots of preventable health problems.
One simple test is to feel for your cat’s rib bones. If you an’t feel them, your cat may be too fat. Also if your cat has trouble climbing stairs or jumping. If your cat is too fat, you’ll need to put it on an exercise and diet program so it can get back down to a healthy weight.
