Matilda and several other kittens wandered into a drainage pipe and couldn’t get out. Rescuers improvised a device to fish Matilda out of the pipe but by then she was no longer breathing. Thinking quickly, a rescuer gave her CPR. By the time Matilda go to a veterinarian, she began crying.
Although rescuers were only able to save Matilda out of all the kittens stuck in the pipe, they say Matilda has recovered nicely and hopefully will find her way to a forever home.
