Cats can’t speak (or they won’t admit that they can) so they need to communicate using non-verbal gestures. While people have different facial and body gestures, cats predominantly use their tails to communicate.

If you can decipher a cat’s tail language, you can understand your cat. Of course the main language to understand is that the cat is in charge at all times and you’ll always be subservient to the cat’s wishes. There, isn’t that easy to understand now?
