The Oakland Athletics have a baseball stadium that seems to attract cats. In fact, executive director Henry Gardner said, “We have been invaded by these cats. The population keeps increasing.”

To help reduce this feral population, the team wants to encourage baseball fans attending the park to adopt a feral cat. To make people aware of this adoption opportunity, the team plans to run ads during games. So now if baseball fans don’t get a baseball as a souvenir, they might get a feral cat to bring home instead.
