Like most missing cats, Dexter disappeared one day and was never found again. For some odd reason, Dexter wound up near a prison where prison officials fed him for five years, thinking he was just a stray.
Then Dexter managed to get in a shipping container and was found on an offshore oil rig. That’s when people noticed he had been microchipped, which helped reunite Dexter with his original owner. Dexter’s life certainly has been exciting, which makes you wonder what really happened to him all these years.
