The one problem with owning a pet is that death inevitably separates owners from their pets. Sometimes the pets die before the owners but sometimes the owners die before the pets. This can leave the pets mourning the loss of their beloved owners.
When a cat lost its owner, the family got a dog. Fortunately, this dog became friends with the cat and now the two of them keep each other company. This shows that if cats can get along with dogs, then they belong on a higher spiritual plane than humans who can’t even get along with each other.
