When most people go to the hospital, they’re often scared or reluctant because staying in a hospital can be a frightening and unsettling experience. That’s why Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, England has Henry, a ginger cat who greets people when they arrive.
Henry helps both the old and young, patients, visitors and staff. Lauren Davies said she wouldn’t have made it through her last three weeks in the hospital due to her 6-month-old daughter’s illness “if it were not for Henry. Henry has made me smile and has given me positive attitude towards the day.”
