“Stray” is the latest video game that lets you play an orange cat as it wanders through a dystopian city of the future. While the game has attracted cat lovers and their cats to play and watch the game, the game is also helping real live cats as well.
The Nebraska Humane Society got four copies of the game to raffle off where all proceeds went to the shelter. Other people are live streaming their “Stray” games to help raise money for animal shelters. Who knew that playing a video game of a cat could one day help real cats in need?
