Cats can be vocal creatures, but one Maine Coon cat almost sounds like he’s saying “Hello” if you turn the volume up really high and listen carefully. Of course it might just be wishful imagination, but the sound of a cat speaking should appeal to everyone.
Now if cats would only evolve a thumb so they could open their own cat food and clean out their own litter boxes, nobody would care if they spoke or not. The real terror is if cats start talking and bossing us around because cats are the masters of the human race after all.
