Long before people were able to share pictures and videos of cats over the Internet, people had to settle for being delighted at seeing cats in TV shows and movies. Because so many cats have appeared in movies, it’s no wonder that certain movies hold a special charm specifically because they highlight a cat.

In the original “Hunger Games” movie, the studio used a black and white cat to represent Katniss’s cat, even though the book clearly described the cat as a ginger tabby. Fortunately, studio heads fixed that problem by replacing the black and white cat with a ginger cat in the Hunger Games sequels.

So if you like cats and like movies, why not enjoy a movie with a cat in it? That way if the movie gets boring, you can still enjoy seeing a cat on the big screen.
