It’s no surprise that when you see people out in public, most of them are staring into their phones. Since phone screens can be so addictive, it shouldn’t surprise anyone that videos designed for cats can be equally addictive to felines.
Owner Chloe da Mata in British Columbia says that her 3-year old cat, coven, is addicted to watching mice videos on her phone. Researchers have found that cats like watching movement so videos featuring birds or mice will likely grab their attention and turn them into smartphone addicts like the rest of us.
