As cats get older, they tend to be less mobile. While this is to be expected, you might want to put your cat’s aging to good use for enlisting it in the latest research project conducted by scientists from the Animal Welfare Epidemiology Lab at the University of California, Davis.
These researchers want to know if remote vet visits can improve the health care of older felines. Since health care is so expensive, being part of a research project can be one way to contribute to scientific knowledge while also getting your cat some vital health care at the same time.
“The aim of this research is to better understand how telehealth impacts home management of cats with chronic health conditions,” said Grace Boone, a staff researcher at the lab.
