When Melodee Coffman adopted a gray tabby named Huckleberry two years ago, Huckleberry’s weight was low. However, Melody noticed that Huckleberry’s weight rapidly increased up to 17 pounds, despite her efforts to keep him thin.risen in recent months, despite his owner’s efforts to help him stay trim.
That’s when Melody discovered the reason why Huckleberry has been gaining weight so rapidly. Apparently after she feeds her three cats, Huckleberry finishes first and then steals food from the other two cats. That shows that humans aren’t the only ones who over eat.
Of course now that Melodee has learned the truth, she now has to supervise eating times to make sure Huckleberry doesn’t get more than his fair share.
