Traveling with a cat can be difficult, but the problem gets even worse when your cat suffers from motion sickness. When one woman’s cat kept getting motion sick while traveling in a car, she decided to dump the traditional cat carrier and opted for a large playpen with a litter box. Amazingly, this reduced her cat’s motion sickness problems completely.
Apparently the playpen gave the cat more room so it didn’t feel so claustrophobic within the confines of a traditional cat carrier. So if your cat suffers from motion sickness or simply doesn’t like the confines of a cat carrier, consider a larger playpen instead. Then use the cat carrier just to transport your cat to and from your cat.
