Cats are safer inside so they don’t risk getting hit by a car, attacked by dogs, or even hurt by malicious humans. However, many cats still enjoy going outside for the stimulation because they enjoy exploring and hunting.
One reason cats like the outdoors is to roam around because the outdoors will always be more mentally stimulating than staying inside all the time. Another reason cats like the outdoors is to get fresh air and sunshine, just like human beings. So if you can find a way to get your cat outside safely, consider doing so for your cat’s enjoyment.
