People all over the world love cats and Netflix’s latest documentary, “The Cats of Syros,” tells the story of a cat sanctuary on the island of Syros. Originally run by a British couple, the bills started mounting too high that the couple sought someone who could take over the sanctuary for them.
After over 70,000 applications, they chose Jeffyne Telson from California, who had previously run ResQCats, a feline sanctuary in Santa Barbara, California. If you happen to live or visit Greece, consider visiting Syros to see some cats. Or simply watch Netflix’s documentary.
