“The Heat” is a 2013 comedy action movie staring Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy. While these two women play the buddy cop role well, there’s a hidden actor that gets much less attention and that’s an orange tabby named Pumpkin.
In “The Heat,” Sandra Bullock’s character is lonely and spends time with the neighbor’s cat who comes and goes. That later becomes a punch line when Melissa McCarthy’s character thinks she’s doing a favor by retrieving the cat for Sandra Bullock. This just goes to show that if you put a cat in a movie, it can make a movie even better.
