Cats mostly look alike but occasionally a mutation creates a whole new breed of cat. In Finland, researchers have discovered a new genetic mutation that looks like a regular tuxedo cat but with gray and white hairs, giving it the appearance of a popular Finnish candy called salty licorice.
If you want a unique cat, consider getting a salty licorice cat although you may have to fly all the way to Finland to find one. Better yet, just pick up a local cat at your nearby animal shelter. It may not look like a salty licorice cat, but it’s sure to add to your life in ways that cats do every time they take over a house.
