While ordinary house cats breed rapidly to the point where animal control officers spay and neuter feral cats whenever possible, other cat breeds are often in danger. That’s why scientists are ecstatic that their trail cameras recently caught footage of a mother clouded leopard and her two cubs.

Since the clouded leopard is an endangered species, seeing a mother with two cubs means they’re breeding. Hopefully more clouded leopards can continue thriving although it’s unlikely they’ll ever become domesticated pets. Still, you can enjoy your ordinary house cat while admiring clouded leopards from afar to celebrate all types of felines in the world.
