With the coronavirus spreading throughout the world, people have been confined to their homes. In America, three out of four Americans with cats say they couldn’t have survived the lockdown without their furry feline friend.

Pets made people feel less anxiety and less alone. Those weren’t the only benefits though — 41% said their pet gave them someone to talk to, and 35% said their pet brought a feeling of positivity to their days.

So obviously a cat is good for your health. Now if we could only take our pet expenses off as health care, we’d be all set.
