If you have a cat, you may notice a curious behavior. Many cat owners go to the bathroom and report that their cats stand outside the door, waiting for them. One reason for this is that cats want to follow their owners wherever they go. Another reason is that cats don’t like a door closed in their face.

Perhaps the most appealing reason (even if it’s not true for your cat) is that cats want to be with their owner even if you’re in the bathroom. Perhaps cats can’t figure out why humans just don’t use the litter box like they do, or your cat just likes freaking you out.
