Olya Schmalko owns an active cat named Figma in the Netherlands. After noticing that Figma seemed restless, they decided to get Figma a housemate. After hearing about cats rescued from Ukraine, Olya wound up adopting a cat named Jam.
Unfortunately, Figma greeted Jam with lots of hissing. Fortunately over time, Figma softened and started hanging out with Jam. The two cats seem to happily co-exist now, but this just shows how introducing a new cat should be taken carefully and slowly so neither cat feels pressured beyond their comfort level.
