When a woman and her male passenger were driving along the 91 freeway in Riverside, California, they spotted a kitten along the highway. They pulled over and rescued the kitten, but in the process, a car didn’t spot the man holding the kitten until it was nearly too late.

This driver swerved to avoid the man, who leaped away and lost the kitten. This created a minor car crash with several vehicles. Although no one was hurt and the kitten got away, at least the kitten was unhurt. The lesson is that if you’re going to save a kitten, do it as safely as possible to yourself and others.
