Cats walk around wearing a fur coat so if the temperature outside gets too warm, make sure your cat has plenty of ways to stay cool whether indoors or out. First, make sure your cat has access to plenty of water. Second, give your cat plenty of shade so it can get out of the sun.
For indoor cats, consider creating a cool room with fans and frozen water bottles to blow cool air around the room. Put the frozen water bottle in front of the fan and let it blow cold air at your cat. A dedicated cool room can be your cat’s sanctuary from the heat. The goal is to always make sure your cat has options to stay cool at all times.
