In Ipswich, there’s a real cat burglar and his name is Theo. The three-year old cat apparently sneaks into homes with cat doors, pilfers small items like Christmas decorations, clothes, and toys to carry back to his own home. Theo’s owner, Rachael Drouet, tries to return all stolen items back to their original owner, but many times she has no idea where these items came from.
Lately the neighbors seem to have wised up about Theo because they’ve installed cat doors that only open when their own cats get nearby with a special microchip in their collars. While this has cut down on Theo’s stealing, Theo still enjoys pilfering items that he finds around the area.
