Back in the fall of October 2015, a stray cat got hit by a car. A good Samaritan brought the cat to the Adobe Animal Hospital and Clinic in Texas where the staff nursed the cat back to health.
Naming the cat Duchess, they initially thought her chances for survival would be slim. Yet Duchess defied the odds and not only recovered from the accident, but soon captured the heart of Crystal Tate, an employee of the Adobe Animal Hospital who adopted her.
Although Duchess has to eat special liquid food because of her misaligned jaw, Tate reports that Duchess fits in with the other animals in the household and is living a happy life.
