Almost everyone knows that cats always land on their feet, yet why they can do this consistently remains a mystery. That’s why scientists keep dropping cats and studying them in lieu of trying to solve other types of problems like climate change or low-cost solar energy.

Apparently scientists have concluded that cats always land on their feet through a complicated twisting of their bodies in mid-air. Of course, any lay person could have told you that, which means scientists either don’t know as much as they like everyone to think or they’re just as confused as the rest of us about how and why cats always land on their feet.
