When an animal control officer found a starving pit bull puppy, covered in fleas, he took the poor animal to an animal shelter. Noland, the pit bull puppy, soon met up with another stray, a cat named Lurlene, who had just given birth to four kittens.
Lurlene nurtured Noland and even got him to use a litter box. When Noland grew up, the animal shelter put him with some other puppies so he could learn to behave more like a dog. If a pit bull and a cat can get along, then you have to wonder why it’s so difficult for people to get along as well.
