So it’s not surprising that many fans have taken to creating Hello Kitty items that aren’t officially sanctioned by its creator. At the Hello Kitty Hell site, you can see stories of wildly inappropriate uses for Hello Kitty such as a Hello Kitty AR-15 assault rifle, a Hello Kitty tattoo, and a Hello Kitty car engine.
Such unapproved uses of Hello Kitty are copyright violations, but it’s probably not worth the company’s time to track down individuals creating various Hello Kitty products for their own use.
