In Surrey, England, someone kept an African wildcat as a pet. When it got loose, it frightened people with its exotic appearance despite its relatively benign behavior. While officials looked for the African wildcat, an ordinary house cat found and cornered the wildcat until authorities could arrive.
Police say both the wildcat and the house cat seemed scared of each other but neither attacked. The wonder of the wildcat soon arrived and wrapped the wildcat in a blanket to take it home so everything turned out for the best.
