With humans, it’s easy to prejudge people based on their skin color, but does the color of cat fur determine a cat’s personality? According to some surveys, the answer is yes!

Black cats tend to easily tolerate crowding and indoor living than tabby-pattern cats. On the other hand, calico cats tend to have more of an attitude compared to other cats. Red, cream, or tortoise shell cats also threw fits and struggled to escape for longer periods when handled by unfamiliar people, compared to cats of other colors.

So the next time you get angry at your cat, be careful that your cat doesn’t place the race card on you and call the Humane Society to take you away. Just remember that cats of any color can be lovable as long as you cooperate and do exactly what the cat wants you to do at all times.
