Stubbs the Cat is already mayor of Talkeetna, Alaska, which has a population of less than 1,000. However, now Stubbs has his eyes on running for a Senate seat. Stubbs the Cat’s campaign pits the cat against Sen. Mark Begich (D-Alaska) and his GOP rival, Dan Sullivan, claiming they have connections to special interest groups. Fortunately, Stubbs the Cat has no ties to any special interest groups.
While it’s unlikely that Stubbs the Cat’s write-in campaign will succeed, it’s nice to know that not all politicians are scumbags who you wouldn’t want to be seen with in public. At least with Stubbs the Cat, you can be proud you donated money to someone willing to put your best interests ahead of special interest groups.
