It’s more than just a myth that cats land on their feet. It’s actually a scientific fact. Because of this, Apple’s engineers have used the way a cat falls to patent an invention that lets an iPhone detect when it’s been dropped so it can right itself and land without breaking any vital components.
The device’s on-board vibration motor could also be employed, so it could even screech a little bit as it fell towards the ground, just like a real cat.
