If you have a cat that sheds, you know the joys of seeing tumbleweeds made up of dust and cat hair rolling across your living room floor. Short of shaving your cat (not recommended), you’ll need to resign yourself to brushing your cat regularly. Then you’ll need to remove the cat hair on your furniture using a damp rag or sponge to make the hair collect together so you can easily pull it off.

Brushing your cat and cleaning up after your cat are the only two ways to make cat shedding bearable. That means more work for you, of course, but owning a cat already means devoting time away from yourself and towards your cat’s comfort at the expense of your own.
