It’s well known that cats have taken over the Internet. In fact, there’s a theory that cats actually invented the Internet (not Al Gore) solely to spread their influence across the world faster than before. With the Internet seemingly exhaustingly solely to share cat videos and pictures, the Internet has spawned two Internet celebrities, Grumpy Cat and Lil Bub.
Grumpy Cat is better known for her sour expression on her face all the time. However, Lil Bub may actually have a more interesting expression that’s perpetually happy. As a result, many people like Lil Bub more than Grumpy Cat. Even worse, Grumpy Cat may suffer from the celebrity nightmare of being overexposed to the point where people start turning away from the constant reminders of that particular celebrity. As a result, Lil Bub may prove more popular in the long run.
