On the East Coast, a severe winter has created problems for humans and animals alike. Sadly, one cat was so chilled and frostbitten that it barely made it to a garage. A nearby animal shelter, Tabby’s Place: a Cat Sanctuary in Ringoes rushed to the kitty’s aid.

The shelter has a no-kill policy and took care of the frostbitten cat. Unfortunately, some of the cat’s toes will need to be amputated and the cat seems to have had little interaction with humans, but the shelter had pledged to give the cat all the affection it deserves. If you live in the New Jersey area, consider adopting a cat from Tabby’s Place, or make a donation.
