An overweight tabby from Surrey has been nicknamed Kit Kardashian after her extraordinarily large backside. The feline, who weighs 8.4kg, or twice the size of the average domestic feline, got its nickname after animal rescue workers noticed a “striking resemblance” to Kim Kardashian, the American socialite. The only difference is that the cat appears to have a purpose in life.
The cat, whose bottom is 10 inches wide, is being looked after by Blue Cross volunteer Belinda Smith at her home in Cobham. Miss Smith, 53, said: “I have been looking after her for two weeks now. A lady from Blue Cross brought her over to my home and when she came out of her cage I said ‘Oh my goodness, she’s a big girl’.
