This is an actual, untouched photo of a strange cat with alien eyes. Matilda was rescued from an animal shelter and looked normal, except occasionally when her eyes would get really big for no apparent reason.
Alarmed, Matilda’s owner took her to a veterinarian who explained that it’s spontaneous lens luxation, which means that the lens detached from the rest of the eye. Eventually Matilda will need surgery, so her owner has started a GoFundMe campaign to defray medical costs. Matilda’s owner hopes her pictures will cover her medical costs and allow any extra to go towards other animal charities.
