Most cats don’t like water, yet many cats have no problems wading near water if it means snaring a fish for a snack or two. In Cambodia, researchers originally thought that the Cambodian Fishing Cat was extinct. However after setting camera traps out in the wild, they managed to snap some pictures of a Cambodian Fishing Cat.
This is good news because that means Cambodian Fishing Cats might soon grow to the point where they can be common again. If that happens, perhaps your next cat you adopt can be a Cambodian Fishing Cat. Just keep it away from any goldfish bowls or aquariums you might have.
