In the 2004 remake “The Ladykillers,” Tom Hanks stars as a criminal mastermind who rents a woman’s basement because it’s the closest way he can tunnel into a nearby casino’s vault and steal their money. However, what thwarts Tom Hanks isn’t the old woman who owns the house but her cat, Pickles.

When Tom Hanks orders one of his men to kill the old woman of the house, Pickles comes to her rescue in a unique and funny way.
