Most people think of cats as either indoor pets or outdoor wanderers. Yet it’s possible to get the best of both worlds and have a cat accompany you while you go wandering. That’s the rationale behind a new site called Camping with Cats.
The idea behind Camping with Cats is to show real cats and their owners hiking mountain trails, playing in tents and even kayaking. As long as your cat enjoys the great outdoors and doesn’t mind being on a leash, you and your cat can happily explore the wilderness while sharing pictures of your experiences with other happy campers and their cats.
Believe it or not, cats can enjoy camping or hiking. Just take the proper precautions to keep your cat leashed and away from other animals such as bears or cougars.
