Why are turtles attacking cats? If you search the Internet, you can find an astounding number of videos showing turtles biting and head butting cats. If you never knew that turtles could be the sworn enemies of the cats of the world, you might think that evolution has gone crazy.

Fortunately as it turns out, turtles aren’t trying to hurt a cat. Instead, turtles bite and head butt other animals as part of their mating ritual. Since turtles want to mate, they’re somehow attracted to anything that moves, much like drunk men in a bar at 3:00 o’clock in the morning.
