When most politicians campaign for public office, they usually create the same boring campaign posters. That’s why Satoshi Shima wanted to do something different. Instead of just showing a picture of himself, Satoshi also shows a picture of a white cat.
If this tactic catches on, perhaps in the future you’ll see politicians all promoting themselves with a cat. After all, if a cat trusts a politician, then the implied suggestion is that you should too.
