As anyone with a cat knows, cats have a way of sneaking outside no matter how hard you may try to keep them safely indoors. The Dartmoor Zoo in Devon found this principle out the hard way when a Lynx wild cat, about the size of a domestic house cat, managed to dig under its enclosure and escape.

Police warn that you should be wary of approaching this Lynx wild cat. Just like any strange cat, the cat likely won’t attack unless provoked, but you could provoke it just by walking too close to it.
