Every holiday is special such as Christmas or Halloween. For yet another holiday to celebrate, August 8 has been declared World Cat Day. Of course that doesn’t matter since cats consider everyday to be their day.
The International Fund of Animal Welfare introduced World Cat Day in 2002 to increase the public’s awareness for the needs of cats. Naturally, cats never let their owners forget about the importance of meeting the needs of cats 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you feel like you’re a slave to your cat, chances are good your cat has been celebrating World Cat Day a bit early.
