In the United States, Donald Trump claims if he doesn’t win the Presidential election, then the election was rigged. Some of Trump’s supporters claim that dead people will vote for the Democrats instead of for Trump, but a greater worry might be if cats vote for the Democrats as well.
In France, French journalist Raphaëlle Besse Desmoulières registered a feline under the name Gaston Lecat to vote for a candidate from the Green Party. Surprisingly, the cat can now legally vote in France’s next election.
So if Donald Trump loses the American election, perhaps it’s because he didn’t attract enough of the feline vote. Either that or he failed to attract the votes of cat lovers as well.
