Cats have a natural curiosity that compels them to climb up objects such as trees or telephone poles. Unfortunately, cats also have a problem getting back down from wherever they go up.
That’s the case with Fat Boy, a cat in Fresno, California that climbed a poor pole and wound up getting stuck up there for six to eight days. The fire department couldn’t get the ct down because of the power lines so the local power company sent linemen up to turn off the power and then getting him down.
Fat Boy was dehydrated but still healthy after his long ordeal stranded on the pole. Hopefully Fat Boy has learned his lesson and will stay on the ground where he can easily jump down if he needs to without requiring extra assistance.
